CREATE A SCHEDULE — agree on start date, key milestones and completion. 8. PLAN A CONTINGENCY — set money aside for unexpected conditions, such as damage found behind walls. 9. CONFIRM LICENSED TRADES — electrical work generally requires a Licensed Electrical Contractor; gas work requires a licensed gas technician.
